West Salem, Ohio – American Augers is proud to announce the promotion of Mike Austin to the position of Oil and Gas Equipment Manager. Austin will be responsible for product, customer, and parts related support for all American Directional Drill branded products.

Austin has been with American Augers for the past 15 ½ years, most recently serving as the fabrication, paint booth, and auger boring products manufacturing manager.

American Augers has appointed Tim Dunbar, as an Oil and Gas Service Technician, and he will be responsible for field related equipment training and service. Dunbar has been with American Augers for the past 8 1/2 years, most recently serving as the manufacturing Assembly Department manager.

 American Augers also announces the promotion of Dan Heath to the position of Training Manager. Heath will be responsible for customer training on the operation, service, and safety standards of all American Augers, American Directional Drill, and ASTEC branded equipment.

Heath has been with American Augers since November 2006 working in the positions of Technical Service Coordinator, Research and Development Manager, and most recently Oil and Gas Equipment Manager

Heath brought to American Augers an experienced background in equipment manufacturing, as he previously served as the Manufacturing Production Manager/Fabrication Manager at the Breitinger Company, and before that as the Machine Assembly Manager for the General Hone Corporation.
