West Salem, OH – American Augers is pleased to announce that Frank van der Hilst has joined the company in the position of International Territory Manager. The territory that van der Hilst will cover shall include Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, Central and Southern Africa. He will be responsible to represent all American Augers branded maxi rig horizontal directional drills, auger boring machines, mud pump and cleaning systems, and the ASTEC® branded mid size horizontal directional drills, as well as all Astec Underground and Trencor branded products.

Prior to joining American Augers, van der Hilst worked from 2001 - 2002 as a Regional Sales Manager for Vermeer International BV, The Netherlands, where he focused on sales to dealerships within the European market. He has also held sales and marketing roles for DCI – Meettechniek BV, the Netherlands, Teknatool International Ltd. and Superloo Sanitation Ltd.

As a graduate of the Polytechnics Institution in Rotterdam van der Hilst obtained a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.  Originally from the Netherlands, van der Hilst now resides in New Zealand with his wife and two children
