Quik Tran™ Auger Boring Machine Benefits

Why Auger Boring Machines by American Augers?

Quik Tran™ - the fast return system made available exclusively from American Augers. It provides up to 10,000 lbs of push/pull at high speed, with no dogging or winching during retract, because the Quik Tran™ system engages directly to the machine track. The Quik Tran™ benefit makes for easier machine operation in challenging work climates or conditions.

American Augers auger boring machines are designed with the Quik Split™ frame design. This feature allows the machine to be separated into sections to accomodate lighter and fasters lifts into and out of the bore pit. It also aids the operator in being able to facilitate better and safer machine positioning.

The Heavy Duty Rock Head or "Christmas Tree Head" is the durable cutting option that is ideal for bores through soft rock, harp pan, shale, gravel, small boulders, or other intrusive ground conditions up to 6,000 psi (414 bar).

The design benefit is the "vee" shape of the head. It provides a self-centering action, which helps maintain ideal line and grade. The head also features tungsten carbide bullet bit that can be utilized at agressive drill angles.
